With Micorsoft's beta adware gizmo users must confirm through the site that they possess a true, non stolen version of Windows XP before being able to download the application. Upon approval computer users get the download free & it begins immediately protecting against adware invasions. The application includes a scanner that will detect & remove or fix adware infected files. The scan runs basically by booting up the program & selecting the scan. It can take twenty minutes or more for the whole scan to complete & two times finished it gives you a list of detected adware.
When you choose to delete the detected adware files you have the choice of making a restore point so that if any issues occur from remove a specific file you may rejuvenate its functions later. Microsoft's anti-spyware gizmo also restores original web Explorer settings that may have been altered by adware infections. Without this feature it's difficult & sometimes impossible to get an web Explorer browser to return to its normal features after adware has delayed them.
